Alliance is a hybrid PvP and PvE game mode in which guilds can join one of three different factions to compete for various ranks, prestige, and rewards.

Differences from Retail

There have been a few changes made to Alliance for OSTO in order to help incentivize participation as well as attempt to create a more balanced playing field. These changes include:

• All three of the Alliances have had their passive buffs removed (FTC’s 1% bonus to looted gold, EU’s 5% reputation credit boost, and IO’s 5% extra stun resistance passive) in an effort to encourage a more balanced distribution of players across the three Alliances.
• Assault Commander’s Tenacious Aura has been reworked from the original CC immunity aura to a +15 Power and +10% Attack Speed aura.
• Vault BAMs and Invisible BAMs have had their drop tables reworked to include some more relevant items, such as feedstock and alkahest.
• The Alliance Reputation Merchant has been updated to include items such as Master Enigmatic Scrolls and Visionmaker Designs. We are looking to include some cosmetics here as well for those interested in some more Alliance related fashion.
• The Alliance supplies (items such as Invisibility Potions and Stun Bombs) have been removed from the Reputation Merchant and have had their designs included as drops from iBAMS.
