Welcome to the patch notes for v1.2 of Old School Tera Online. In this patch, we will be looking at tuning reward and progression balancing, as well as introducing some new features that will help coordinate matchmaking.

Elite Changes

Due to numerous system changes since going live, Elite Status has lost some of its value and we are currently experimenting with new ways to make it more appealing.

Leveling

Story Quest Experience Changes

To allow solo players a smoother experience while leveling, we've brought back the original refined experience path with story questing which includes increased experience rewards gained through red / main story quests. Main Story Quests now give enough experience to level a character from 1 - 60. We hope that this will give players more flexibility to level in solo scenarios.

Endgame PVE

To put a higher emphasis on casual group play, some of the gold from both daily quests & Hard Modes has been shifted back into Normal Mode gold rewards.

Gold Reward Changes

Normal Mode: 500g -> 750g Hard Mode: 600g -> 400g Daily Quests: Gold lowered by ~10%
