Welcome to the patch notes for v1.3.1 of Old School Tera Online. In this patch, we’re making some more changes to accessibility, balance, and cosmetic updates.

General

While we want to keep the permanent Apothecary Dyes as rare craftables, we realize that players are still requiring more and more dyes as we continue to release cosmetics that were never dyeable before. We will continue to monitor the availability of dyes moving forward to make sure dyes continue to be integrated into the game's economy while still remaining accessible.

While the rewards for utilizing the Instance Matching System were designed to incentivize branching out and playing with new people, we have been noticing that some groups have been manipulating the system to que in as a full premade with a 4+1 pattern (essentially a full static queing through IMS). We're adjusting rewards so the disparity between using LFG vs IMS isn't so massive, but will still be looking into better ways to incentivize playing with new people. In the meantime, we ask that players refrain from abusing the system by attempting to que in as a full static, and those who are found to be doing this will risk punishment.
