It is recommended to Masterwork your item before attempting to reroll it so as not to waste resources.
Lines denoted by two green arrows in a circle indicate that stat line can be ‘rerolled’. The weapon pictured below has five lines in total that can be rerolled to optimize its performance.
Right-Clicking a Master Enigmatic Scroll and then Left-Clicking a piece of gear in your inventory will bring up the following menu if it is capable of being rerolled:
Locking Stat Lines requires Spellbind, the amount increasing with every additional line you wish to lock.
Once you’ve chosen the lines you wish to reroll simply press the “Enigmatic Reset” button near the bottom and you’ll be met with this notification:
Additional you’ll notice your gear has updated in your inventory:
To unravel the Enigma, and reveal what your item’s new Stat Lines are you simply need to Right-Click an Intricate Identification Scroll in your inventory and Left-Click the item. An animation will play, revealing the equipment’s updated Stat Lines.
Now you need to simply repeat this process until your gear possesses your desired Stat Lines. Better start praying to RNGesus.
