Class skills in Old School TERA Online (OSTO) are learned on a different schedule than in original/retail TERA—core abilities unlock much earlier, and most classes gain access to their full kit by around level 20. This accelerated progression is meant to let players enjoy their full class identity and rotations sooner, while still keeping the overall experience grounded in a classic level‑60 environment.
Additionally, OSTO has introduced a small set of quality‑of‑life updates to skills/chained skills, which are summarized in the Class Balance Adjustments patch notes.
