What is TERA Toolbox?

TERA Toolbox is a mod manager integrated into the Old School TERA Online (OSTO) launcher. It allows players to install and manage approved game mods that improve quality-of-life features while playing.

You do not need to manually install a separate proxy or configure files — OSTO handles this automatically.

Common uses of Toolbox include:

• Ping compensation/skill prediction tools
• UI improvements
• General quality-of-life improvements

Accessing Toolbox (via OSTO Launcher)

1. Open the latest OSTO Launcher.

2. Click the TERA Toolbox icon (purple, gear-like icon) from the topmost bar:

   

Activating Mods

Before launching the game…

2. Enable the mods you want

   

   …or install additional mods from the Get More Mods tab:

   

3. Click START. (By default, Toolbox runs only when the Launcher is open. Closing the launcher will stop Toolbox.)

4. Click Back and confirm that Toolbox is Running.

   

5. Launch Game

TIP: Skip a step and set Toolbox to start automatically. From the Toolbox window, go to Settings tab and enable “Start proxy automatically”, allowing Toolbox to start automatically when you open the OSTO Launcher.
