Patch Date: Wednesday, September 30th, 2026
Ready for a real test? Challenger Dungeons are here: keystone runs of Manaya’s Core, Kelsaik’s Nest and Timescape that get harder with every tier you climb.
This update also brings Champions’ Crucible, a new 5v5 battleground, Vanarchy for guilds, a much bigger Future Shop, and more character creator customization options.
After this patch, please look forward to the Threads of Time update in the coming month.
Challenger Dungeons
If you have ever played retail World of Warcraft, this system may seem a tad bit familiar to you… Challenger Dungeons are keystone runs of Manaya's Core, Kelsaik's Nest and Timescape for five-player parties, from +1 to +20, and the bosses get tougher with every tier.

- Earn your first Challenger Keystone by clearing Manaya's Core (Hard) or Kelsaik's Nest (Hard), then beat the timer to push your key higher.
- Every clear raises your Challenger Rating and awards Challenger Tokens, Resplendent Feedstock and Resplendent Alkahest.
- Spend your tokens in the Challenger Medal Store on mounts, pets, weapon skins, costumes and Challenger's Elixir.
- See how you stack up on the new Challenger rankings on our website.
For timers, modifiers, rewards and the full store list, see the Challenger Dungeons wiki page.
Champions’ Crucible

- Added Champions’ Crucible, a new 5v5 level 60 battleground.
- Queue up solo or with a friend and you’ll be matched into a party. Score points by defeating opponents, and the first team to reach the target score wins.
- Matches last up to 7 minutes, and gear is equalized inside the arena.
- In the final minute, healing received is reduced by 70%, so matches don’t stall at the end.
- Staying in your spawn area builds up a penalty, so get out and fight.
